Wimbledon Special Edition 2012 (Student Work)

The aim for this project was to design a packaging for a special event; I chose the Wimbledon tournament.Wimbledon is the oldest tournament, since 1877, it's considered the most prestigious. Wimbledon traditions include a strict dress code for competitors which is the color white, the eating of strawberries and cream by the spectators, and Royal patronage. These are the values I wanted to transmit through my design.This packaging was completely handmade which gives an additional value and prestige to it. I chose to play with reliefs and with white on white with a touch of gold because I was looking for an elegant design. On the inside, where the ball lays on soft foam, the packaging is green which represents the field of the tennis court.
